Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train To Run Underwater Near Thane Creek

Not only will it the first of its kind Bullet train in India, but also the first in India to travel under the sea. Apparently the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet will travel under the sea near Thane creek as authorities plan to build an underwater tunnel.
A senior Railways official involved in the Bullet train project mentioned that the railway route will also include a 21 km long tunnel under the sea.

The project has been deemed the most ambitious railway project in India, and has been analyzed recently for its feasibility. An IIM Ahmedabad study mentions that the train will have to complete 100 trips/day to keep it profitable.
This project looks a lot more promising now because as we can see, yeh kaafi paani mein hai. #sorrynotsorry

Isn’t this project impre-sea-ve? Isn’t it sen-sea-tional? Are you shore this will happen in India? Has the Modi wave just hit Indian Railways? You’ve had enough of this? Okay.
Peace.
