Ahmedabad

By Air
The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) International Airport in Hansol, situated 15 km north-east from the city centre, is the closest airport to reach Ahmedabad. It is well-connected domestically with daily flights to and from Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, Chennai, Bangalore, Goa, Kolkata, Jaipur, Pune, Coimbatore, Hyderabad and Nagpur and connections to several other cities. One can hire a rickshaw or a cab right outside the airport to reach the city.
By Train
Ahmedabad Railway Station (Station code: ADI, located in Kalupur, is the main railway station connecting the city to Mumbai, Vadodara, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Delhi. Rickshaws, buses and taxis are available outside the station.
By Road
The road network to Ahmedabad is well-maintained. Many important cities like Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Udaipur, Shirdi, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar are connected to Ahmedabad. Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has buses from all parts of Gujarat connecting to Ahmedabad.
