116-Year-Old Former Driver Of Netaji Is Now The World’s Oldest Human Alive!

Japan's Yasutaro Koide was the world’s oldest man till he died in January at the age of 112.

The man to claim the record after Koide is from India, and is none other than Colonel Nizamuddin, the former driver of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Nizamuddin recently opened a bank account with the State Bank of India at the age of 116.
According to his voter identity card and passport which he produced before the bank as proof, he was born in 1900. He thus is the oldest human being alive on the planet right now at an age of 116 years 3 months and 14 days as on Sunday, reports ANI News.
Interestingly, he opened a joint account along with his wife, Ajbunisha, who is herself 107 years old.
