And the winner of the 2014 Miss World pageant is....Miss South AfricaRolene Strauss!
The 22-year-old beauty queen was crowned onstage at the competition's grand final at the Excel London ICC Auditorium on Sunday. Strauss, the daughter of a doctor and nurse, is a fourth-year medical student.
Donning a high, blue and golden jeweled crown and pale pink, off-the-shoulder, romantic-style, cleavage-baring, ruffled evening gown, Strauss waved and smiled at the crowd.

Miss South Africa, 22-year-old medical student Rolene Strauss, is bookmakers' favourite to win the title at 6/4.
Strauss is the third South African to take the crown after Penelope Coelen who was crowned in 1958 and Anneline Kriel in 1974.
Originally from Mpumalanga, Strauss was crowned Miss South Africa 2014 in a glittering pageant at the Sun City Superbowl held on 30 March 2014. She was crowned by Miss South Africa 2012 Marilyn Ramos.

Miss World 2014: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan felicitated for being the most successful Miss World so far

"To have the opportunity to hold the title, to wear the crown with pride... that was my one time to go out there and experience beauty with a purpose...," said the actress looking gorgeous in shimmery gown.
The 41-year-old was accompanied by her mother Vrinda, husband and actor Abhishek Bachchan and three-year-old daughter Aaradhya on the stage.
Having starred in movies like 'Devdas' and "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", she is now a regular at the prestigious Cannes film festival.
Meanwhile, Koyal Rana, India's representative at the Miss World this year, could only make it to the top 10. The crown went to Miss South Africa.
